The original 17th century Herati carpet inspiring this design hails from Eastern Persia, where it once graced an Imperial palace. In the antique piece, a symmetrical field of flowers extends from a lozenge shaped central motif. Large blossoms are disposed at intervals on stems bearing smaller blossoms, leaves and buds, in an array of deep reds, blues and browns sparked with lighter tones and white on a deep red inner field. Symmetrically balanced around a lozenge-shaped center like the original, the new Nourison version is even more richly populated with floral motifs, creating a marvelous air of overflowing beauty that celebrates the life force in nature. You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
